These delicious, no-bake treats are easy to make. You can substitute rum for the bourbon if desired. They can also be made kid-friendly by using apple cider instead of alcohol.
Add bourbon, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and honey to the food processor and process until everything is well combined and smooth.
If desired (or if the dough seems loose and wet), let rest at room temperature, covered, for at least 30 minutes, and up to 4 hours, to let the mixture absorb the liquid completely.
This recipe makes enough bourbon balls to fill three 1 ¾ cup containers.
You can substitute rum in this recipe. Molasses really melds well with the rum.
