First recipe of November was Korean Meatballs. I chose an easy recipe so that I’d actually make it, since I’m usually bad about cooking on Monday night after cooking so much over the weekend.
It was a simple recipe. I used ground turkey instead of grinding chicken breast, and the other ingredients were garlic, oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, and a little salt. I had a 20 ounce package of turkey but it called for a pound, so I had to increase the other ingredients by 25%. I mixed together the ingredients, made 25 meatballs, sauteed them in 2 batches for 4 minutes each, and then finished them in a 350F oven.
These were pretty good. They were a little sweet and a little garlicky. I wish I’d made an exciting or spicy side dish to go with them, but we ate them with leftover bread. This was a good, simple dish to make, and I’d make it again.
